Service Manager/Shop Foreman
Location: Kandahar, Afghanistan
Industry: Construction Equipment
Salary Range: $100,000 base salary; bonus potential of $70,000.

Position Details & Responsibilities

Our client, a U.S. based construction equipment dealer, is looking for a strong service manager/shop foreman for their equipment repair facility in Kandahar, Afghanistan (located in NATO base). The shop foreman will be responsible for managing the efforts of a team of 6-10 service technicians.

Requirements:

-Must have shop supervision experience with strong technical/mechanical knowledge.
-Must have construction equipment experience.
-U.S. military experience preferred.
-Prior experience with deploying overseas preferred.

Position Details & Responsibilities

Road Machinery, LLC, a Komatsu construction equipment dealer, is in need of a sales Account Manager in the San Francisco Bay area of California to sell new and used heavy construction equipment and attachments. Individual will call on new and existing accounts. Applicant must have strong sales ability and knowledge of heavy construction equipment. Reports to the northern California Regional GM based in Sacramento, CA.

Brief Job Description:
Sell heavy equipment and attachments to an account base in the San Francisco Bay area. Utilize Company provided laptop, cell phone, fuel card, and monthly car allowance to contact customers and sell product.

Detailed Job Description:

•Perform the functions of a CE equipment Account Manager to include initiating and following up with customers, resolving problems, answering questions, generating proposals, correspondence, and reports. Requires weekly input of all sales activity into a CRM system.

•Prepare, process, review, and monitor various documents required for financing and sales of equipment.

•Contact current and prospective customers to solicit new business within the market area.

•Prepare (via computer) and present proposals and quotes based on customer needs.

•Create and maintain customer lists, files, and items for follow-up action.

•Attend sales seminars, sales meetings, or educational activities to stay up-to-date on the latest developments, trends, and regulations in the market area.

•Control expenses to increase profitability.

•Work harmoniously with all co-workers.

•Perform any other special duties as requested by the Regional General Manager and/or other department personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

•EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Degree preferred, some college required, or three to five years related experience.

•LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and interpret documents. Ability to write routine reports, proposals, and correspondence, along with speaking effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

•REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in customer and sales situations.

•CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record mandatory.

•PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.

•WORK ENVIRONMENT:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; outside weather conditions, dust and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but on occasion can reach extremes requiring the wearing of protective devices. Travel is frequent to meet with customers at the job site. This position requires travel into remote undeveloped areas for periods to call on customers.

•COMPUTER SKILLS:
This position requires daily proficient use of a company-provided personal computer. Incumbent must be capable of logging into Company systems for pricing, quotation creation, etc. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products (Work, PowerPoint, and Excel) required. Must be self sufficient on administrative tasks.
